Mark Todd Body Protector

The Mark Todd Body Protector conforms to the requirements of BETA 2000, Body Protector Standard Class 3 and EN 13158 Level 3. This product has been planned with a modern, safe and comfortable approach to the riders well-being. It has been designed to offer protection from impacts consequent with falling or being thrown from a horse. This protection covers every rider from a child on their first pony to the top class competitor. The content is 65% Polyester, 35% Cotton outer and 100% Polyester lining. It has a finished weight of 195 grams per sq m. The majority is made of foam that provides excellent shock absorption, high dimensional stability, good flame resistance and high compression deflection. Ventilation is a key factor in the design of this product. The foam is perforated with 10mm holes and a mesh lining is also included to aid this process. The body protectors main priority is safety, the hook & loop type touch and closure is utilized to provide simple but secure adjustment of waistband mechanism and shoulder closure. The waistband offers a hook and loop closure incorporating a red safety marker; this is to ensure that the rider is using the correct size body protector for maximum safety. If the hook & loop closure does not cover the red marker fully, you may need to select another size. Maintenance of the Mark Todd Body Protector is necessary and may be washed in warm soapy water and must be dried flat. To maintain the hook & loop closures, dirt and fluff needs to be removed regularly. For your convenience, this product comes with a garment hanging bag which is ideal for travelling to competitions and events.
